Week 24 – The Journey has just begun!

How many of you have made New Year’s resolutions year after year and nothing has ever happened?  Why not you ask?  Every year you have good intentions life will change.  New promises are considered, but nothing happens.   The reason being you did not take action or know how to become different.  Just wishing to be different does not make it happen.  What were the critical steps to take?  All the self-help courses talk about how wonderful it would be to change your life, but no one explained the steps to create this change.   Well, along comes the Master Keys Mastermind Alliance Course, and Mark J, the World’s Laziest Network Marketer.  Finally, the skills were explained to change the old blueprint to become a different person.  Thirteen skills were revealed through a series of exercises over 24 weeks.

We learned nothing new, but discovered what was already within us.  Our eyes to self-discovery were opened.  We focused upon the positive and away from the negative.  We learned to see the world through optimism, gratitude, enthusiasm and love.  We learned to trust ourselves and not be afraid.  Our barometer is our heart.  We discovered our talents resulting in confidence and a greater calm.  We slayed the dragon within.  

The red pencil syndrome bombards us daily through the television, movies, news, in school targeting our thoughts and reactions toward the negative point of view.  We are naturally wired to go toward the negative.  Exercises like the 7 Day Mental Diet helped us to influence our subconscious mind by paying attention to the thoughts we allow into our minds.  It’s been said, “your mind is either programmed for prosperity and abundance, or it’s not!”  Each of us is the gardener of our soil, we must surrender our ego, and listen to our only true teacher….. the one within us!

Why am I on the Earth?  Why am I here?  What is my purpose in life?  We developed our DMP, our dharma, our definite major purpose.  We must trust ourselves and be the watchman at the gate.  Let go of everything and reprogram our subconscious and connect to the Universal mind, God, the Omnipotent. Opportunities come to those who are prepared.

The priceless wisdom of the ten ancient scrolls handed down from thousands of years in Og Mandino’s, The Greatest Salesman in the World.” Scroll IV, I am life’s greatest miracle, was a game-changer.  Being the observer and offering no opinions allows us to become more aware.  We became more ready to make our own choices and stand out as an individual, our own hero, in confidence.  The Law of Least Effort taught us to live in acceptance, responsibility, and defenselessness.

The Law of Giving and Receiving taught us to give and receive kindness and love with an open heart. Emerson’s, Law of Compensation, taught us we cannot get it, unless we give it.  “The more we give, the more we will receive.”  The Seven Laws of the Mind included the Law of Growth, what we pay attention to grows and what we forget atrophies.   Be in the zone…zero out negative thoughts!  Be persistent and succeed.

In summary, we can learn many of life’s great truth in the Five Lessons in Life by Dr. Seuss:

1. Today you are you, that is truer than true, there is no one alive who is youer that you.
2. Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
3. You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
4. Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
5. Today I shall behave, as if this is the day I will be remembered.

“When we seek truth, it appears everywhere.”  Be in today ….be in the moment.  Follow your intention and do what you think is right.

I discovered the Master Keys Mastermind Alliance course and persisted to be in attendance and complete all the exercises.  The world looks new because I changed my life.  I wished I found this opportunity years ago, but the timing was right…all proceeded as it was intended.  I have shared with you just of few of the many lessons and wonderful discoveries experienced.
